Here in Steuben County, in the Finger Lakes region of New York, we’re close to some iconic places in music history. Ever heard of Woodstock? Thought so. That monumental moment in music happened just a few hours east of us. How about Summer Jam at Watkins Glen, a Guinness World Record-holding festival that drew one of the largest audiences ever? That took place just next door in Schuyler County, right outside Watkins Glen.

So you get the idea. Up here, music is a big part of who we are. And when it’s summer in the Finger Lakes, with a warm breeze in the air, a glass of chilled wine in hand, and music playing, there’s really nothing better. 

You’re probably wondering where you can catch a live show (or several), and we’re here to fill you in. Here are eight (of many) places to see live music this summer in Steuben County. 

Point of the Bluff – Hammondsport, NY

With past performances from legends like The Beach Boys and Indigo Girls, and a 2025 lineup featuring The Bacon Brothers and Daryl Hall, Point of the Bluff delivers high-caliber talent in a stunning vineyard setting. Live music, great wine, chill vibes, and unforgettable sunsets? Yes, please.

The Rockwell Museum – Corning, NY 

A concert and an art fix in one stop! The Rockwell Live summer concert series takes place on the museum’s iconic terrace, where you can enjoy music paired with gorgeous views of downtown Corning. Before the show, explore three floors of American Art and sip on cocktails inspired by works in the galleries. This is a unique, art-forward concert experience you will never forget!

Gaffer District: Music in the Square – Corning, NY 

Right in the heart of downtown Corning, Music in the Square brings free live music to Centerway Square every Thursday in July and August from 6 to 8 PM. It’s the perfect excuse to grab a treat from a Market Street favorite like Dippity Do Dahs or Old World Café and settle in for a relaxed, family-friendly night out filled with music.

Weis Vineyards – Hammondsport, NY 

Wine, food, and live music in a fun atmosphere? It’s hard to beat. Every Friday from June 13 through August 22, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM, Weis Vineyards hosts a free happy hour with rotating artists. Dance to the tunes, enjoy the top-notch wines, and enjoy the gorgeous Finger Lakes scenery.

Heron Hill Winery – Hammondsport, NY

Keep the party going on Saturday nights across the lake at Heron Hill, with live music all summer long. From July 5 to August 30, enjoy free, live music every Saturday from 4 to 7 PM. Enjoy great tunes, delicious Heron Hill wine, and local craft beers.

The Forx Stage – Wayland, NY 

Love a good tribute band? The Forx Stage has a packed summer lineup of throwback favorites, including tributes to The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Bruno Mars, and more. These high-energy, ticketed shows are made for dancing and singing along to the songs you know by heart.

Music in the Park – Bath, NY 

In the heart of Bath’s Pulteney Park, enjoy free, live music every Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM in July and August. Pack a picnic, bring a lawn chair, and enjoy the tunes with family and friends.

Radisson Hotel – Corning, NY 

Located right in Downtown Corning, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the summer, the Radisson Hotel features free performances. Featuring a variety of genres and styles, these free shows are great for everyone! Enjoy a drink from the Steuben Bar and enjoy the tunes.
